AUTUMN IS HERE... And There’s No Hibernating For Us
What a busy time it’s turning out to be for us here at Peculiar since we got back from our USA adventures a few weeks ago.
We’re moving HQ this week and it’s chaos but we’re excited about reinvigorating our
brain space in our new surroundings, and we’re going to need all the new energy we
can get looking at the next few months’ diary...
Virtually all our bands are touring
between now and Christmas and as we only work with musical geniuses, we recommend
that you check out the listings on the bottom right and try and come along to some
shows. As we are organised bunnies we are making preparations for for Spring time
album releases from the Mediaeval Baebes, The Destroyers, Rasp Thorne & The Briars
and Chancery Blame amongst others.
Shelley has just finished designing the artwork
for Bev lee Harling’s debut album ‘Urban Gypsy’ and he has just been commissioned
to design his third Die So Fluid album cover and booklet which is a great compliment.
And for now we can’t recommend enough that you check out our friends The Murder Barn
this Friday 21st October at Village Underground in Shoreditch. https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-

London's "Tin Pan Alley" is quite simply Europe’s premiere
music street. Filled with specialist music shops, it is the bastion of songwriters,
studios, guitars and all things revered by those who are passionate about music.
Pretty much every music great has performed or recorded in Tin Pan Alley; The Beatles,
The Rolling Stones, The Kinks and Jimi Hendrix have all made music history in this
street and the Sex Pistols notoriously recorded their first demos there when they
lived above number 6..
The Tin Pan Alley Music Festival aims to celebrate the capital’s musical legacy and
continue tradition by showcasing current rhythm & blues artists, diverse bands and
singer songwriters alongside up and coming bands. MORE INFO

3 NEW BAEBES!
Mediaeval Baebes have recently recruited THREE new talented singers and musicians. Clare Edmondson (vocals), Tanya Jackson (vocals & guitar) and Jo Burke (vocals & violin) performed with the band for the first time at Trolls & Legends Festival at Mons Expo Centre in Belgium. They will be accompanying the rest of the Baebes to Germany in June and the USA in September. Dates for the Mediaeval Baebes US tour are almost fully booked and will be announced shortly.

THANK YOU
Thanks to everyone that came down to Underbelly on Saturday night and partied
with us to the sounds of Rasp Thorne & The Briars, Nick Marsh & The Waltzing Bones
and Chancery Blame & The Gadjo Club.
All three bands totally blew us away and the
feeback has been great. Check out live video of Rasp Thorne & The Briars HERE

RASP THORNE & THE BRIARS
We would like to welcome Rasp and his unruly bunch to the
Peculiar roster.
Touting a mixture of carnival dirges, gothic country and punk,
their approach to music is idiosyncratic yet immediate. With a repertoire of songs
covering topics from cryptic crocodiles and shotgun sucking porn stars to sermons
of a dystopian wax cult the material is theatrical, murky, and literate.
They’re going to fit in well round here. More
